  • Welcome

    Welcome

Choosing the right school for your child is a significant decision. We believe our K-9 school offers a unique and nurturing environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and a strong sense of community. Here's why:

    • Seamless Transitions: Our K-9 structure eliminates the stress of transitioning to a new school in middle school. Students enjoy a consistent learning environment, building strong relationships with peers and teachers throughout their elementary and early secondary years.
    • Enhanced Sense of Belonging: Our smaller, close-knit community allows for strong bonds between students of different ages. Younger students look up to older role models, while older students develop leadership skills through mentorship and positive interactions.
    • Cross-Age Learning: Students collaborate on projects, participate in buddy programs, and engage in activities that foster empathy and understanding.
    • Character Development: We emphasize values like respect, responsibility, and kindness, creating a positive and supportive atmosphere.
    • Extracurricular Activities: Students can explore diverse interests through clubs, sports, and after-school activities designed for a wide range of ages.
    • Stronger Parent-Teacher Relationships: Our K-9 model allows for ongoing communication and collaboration between parents and teachers throughout your child's academic journey.

Major General Griesbach School also works in professional partnerships with the North Central Catchment Schools focusing on staff professional development to support enhanced student learning opportunities and successful transitions into High School and beyond.
